Gundam Pictures: Mecha
i realised that i haven't posted any mecha picts for Gundam SEED/Destiny yet. weird huh, since Gundam SEED is a mecha anime, how can there be no mecha picts?! so yupps, here's the first batch of mecha. =) they're all darn cool aren't they. =P
here's the Akatsuki Gundam. <3 i just love the many guns on it. it's rather similar to Mua La Fraga's Mobile Armor, in the sense that it has guns which can detach from it and move independently of the main craft. coolness. =) i happen to have the model kit for it, and that is one of my more expensive sets, so i shall have it displayed in a display casing, once i get the box that it. =) i'll post picts, dun u worry.
aha, here's another of my favorite mecha. i think i've mentioned somewhere earlier. it's the METEOR unit. ehhs, it has many many beams emitting from it, and it's kinda like a power-up for the Gundams. =) the battleship Eternity is the main carrier for these two METEOR units, so i guess they're really unique huh. i've never seen the Akatsuki attached with this unit, but it says so on the box that the Akatsuki is compatible too. hmm...Akatsuki on its own has the battlepower to sink many ships...with the METEOR attached...woah.
heh, Athrun's first Gundam. ignore the Zaku he piloted in the first episode. =) it can morph into a Mobile Armor, so i guess that gives it an up on speed and mobility. other than the fact that it's rather oddly shaped (like it can't really balanced properly), it's a nice model. at least better than the Justice...
Freedom. the main unit in both SEED and Destiny. it's practically invincible, unless u count the time that stupid Shinn sank it...but well, it Shinn hadn't sunk it, Kira wouldn't have gotten the Strike Freedom from Lacus. so yeah. Strike Freedom is rather similar to Freedom except for the gold trimmings and the increased firepower. it's a nice model. =) i like the wings on Freedom. they're much nicer that the butterfly-laser wings on the Destiny Gundam that Shinn has. the butterfly makes it look weak...the angelic wings on Freedom and much more grand. i guess that's why it's the main unit. =) i'm getting my hands on the model kit soon...eyeing the Lightning Edition, but the stock doesn't seem to be coming in. >.<
